A warranty is only as good as the company that stands behind it. Since 1984 Bellows Plumbing, Heating & Air has offered unmatched warranties, including our “1 Year Test Drive” on all new water heater, ductless mini split, furnace and air conditioning installs and our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee on all repairs.

If you are not completely satisfied with the service we have provided, we’ll make it right or refund your money. Additionally, all new plumbing and HVAC system install projects come with our “1-Year Test Drive Guarantee”. If for some reason you’re not happy with your new system during the first year, let us know. If we cannot resolve your issues we will remove the equipment and help you with a refund.

The following is a list of our labor and parts warranties as of November 1, 2020

Equipment install, replacements, and repairs completed prior to this date may be subject to different warranty coverage. Please reference your invoice or call for questions.

ONE-YEAR “TEST DRIVE” WARRANTY

If you are unhappy for any reason with your new installation and we can’t fix it, we will remove the system and refund 100% of your original investment at any time during the first year minus the cost paid to any subcontractors. *This offer is not available for installed piping, sewer, or underground projects or installs

1 YEAR LABOR WARRANTY

We will warranty the labor on any new product that we supplied and installed for a period of one year from the date of install. This is separate from the manufacturer labor warranty.

MAINTENANCE PLAN LABOR EXTENSION WARRANTY

Preventative maintenance is required by all equipment manufacturers to keep current your equipment warranty. Bellows Plumbing, Heating, & Air offers up to three visit maintenance visits per year for your plumbing, heating, and cooling system which provides you with a current equipment warranty and a well running system. Plus every year you are enrolled in Bellows’ Maintenance Plan you get an added one year of extra labor warranty to any new system install. Credit card is required, automatic billing applied annually. HVAC WARRANTIES – Customer Entry Required

Lennox Furnaces, ACs, PureAir, iComfort, iHarmony, Heat Pumps and Mini Splits: To activate your 10-Year Lennox parts warranty on your new equipment, go to the Lennox Warranty Registration Site. You will need the following:

  • The serial number and model number for each piece of equipment you purchased.
  • If you’re registering equipment in a newly constructed home, Lennox will ask for the date you closed on the purchase of the home.
  • If your equipment was added on or replaced in an existing home, Lennox will ask for the date of installation and installer’s name and address. Enter “Bellows Plumbing, Heating & Air, Inc.” and the address of branch that installed equipment (either Marin/Sonoma, Santa Clara, or Santa Cruz County office), which can be found in our website footer.

Mitsubishi Mini Splits and Heat Pumps: To activate your extended Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor 12-Year parts warranty on your new equipment, Bellows will have to enter the equipment for you. This will be completed within 60-days of your install and a notification emailed to the email address on file.

American Standard Furnaces and ACs: To activate your American Standard 10-Year parts warranty on your new equipment, go to American Standard Warranty and Registration. You will need the following:

  • The serial number and model number for each piece of equipment you purchased.
  • Installing Dealer: Bellows Plumbing, Heating & Air, Inc.

*Annual maintenance is required by all equipment manufacturers to keep current your equipment warranty. If you call in a warranty claim there the manufacturer may ask you to show proof of annual maintenance receipts.

PLUMBING WARRANTIES

Home Water Line Replacement – 15 years

We guarantee our workmanship for a period of 15 years on all new complete home repipes. If your pipes fail at any time during that period, we will repair the failure free of charge.

Underground Water & Gas Line Replacement – 10 years

We guarantee our workmanship for a period of 10 years on all underground pipe replacement. Warranty does not cover connection point to “old” pipe.

Sewer Line Replacement – 15 years

We guarantee our workmanship on all complete sewer line projects. We guarantee that the newly installed section of your sewer line will perform trouble free for a period of 15 years. This does not include clogs due to abuse or “non-flushable” items.

Sewer Line Spot Repair – 1 year

We guarantee our workmanship on all sewer line spot repair projects for a period of 1 year. We guarantee that the line will not clog or fail at the point of spot repair for a period of 1 year.

Hydrojetting – 1 year

Hydrojetting is the most effective method for removing drain clogs, roots, and grease from drain and sewer lines. We guarantee that your hydrojetted line will remain clog free for a period of 1 year. In the event that your line cannot be covered under warranty your technician will inform you in writing.

Drain Clogs – 30 days

Drain clogs can be a nasty mess. We guarantee that your drain clog will remain unclogged for a period of 30 days. Warranty is limited to proper clean out access and does not cover lines that have collapsed, are clogged with a foreign object, misaligned, or have been clogged due to negligence.

If drain line has roots, offsets or other issues that should be repaired technician may notify client that the line is not covered under this warranty. Technician has the right to deems a sewer or drain line as no warranty.

Tank Water Heaters – 6 Years / Tankless – 10-12 Years

Depending on your home’s requirements, you may have had one of the following branded tank or tankless water heaters installed. Click on one of the six below links to go directly to each manufacturer’s warranty registration site. You will need your model and serial number (found on the equipment name plate) and Installing Company’s name for registration, use Bellows Plumbing, Heating & Air, Inc.

A.O. Smith Water Heaters, State Water Heaters, Rheem Water Heaters, RUUD Water Heaters, Navien Tankless Water Heaters, and Bradford White Water Heaters.

GENERATOR WARRANTIES

Generac and Honeywell Generators: To activate your *5-year Generac parts warranty on your new equipment, go to the Generac Warranty Registration Site. You will need the following:

  • The serial number and model number for each piece of equipment you purchased.
  • Portable generators, pressure washers, and transfer switches do not require activation. However, Generac encourages you to register these products in order to receive the full range of benefits of being a Generac owner.
  • Clean energy storage systems require to be registered. Your unit needs to be registered and internet connected to fulfill your 10 year warranty. In addition, monitoring capabilities will not function until your unit is connected to the internet.
  • *Generac sometimes offers a 7-year warranty but these are not offered by Bellows. They are only valid if the lead was originally booked through Generac’s website or via their phone number they advertise during promotions and commercials

DISCLAIMERS

Customer Supplied Material Guarantee: Unfortunately we are unable to offer any type of guarantee on customer supplied material. There are literally hundreds of great brands and products out there, but we only offer guarantees on the products and material that we supply. We only offer products and material that we’ve tested on our own homes. Further, customers will be responsible for payment on projects where the supplied product cannot be completely installed due to manufacturing defects, lack of proper material, or incompatibility.

Restrictions: All warranties are subject to proper use of the product. Abuse, negligence, or customer inflicted damage will void any and all warranties. Further, these warranties do not cover acts of God or natural disaster. Warranties are subject to full payment for the project. Failure to make full payment may limit warranty coverage. Warranties are only valid for the original purchaser and not transferable unless otherwise indicated. Warranties may be voided if code plumbing or mechanical code violations contribute to failure.
