How soon can you make it to my house?

Most of the time we can make it to your home or business with a few hours. Depending on the severity of the problem sometimes even sooner. We do our best to always schedule appointments accurately and to allot the needed time.

That said sometimes the schedule suddenly changes or a project goes longer than we anticipated. When this happens, we’ll always do our best to communicate a schedule changes as soon as possible.

What is the Annual Home Protection Plan?

Bellows’ Annual Home Protection Plan is a three-part membership program that’s designed to give clients the maximum peace of mind knowing their home’s plumbing, heating, and or AC equipment is being maintained and running at optimal performance.

In addition to the peace of mind and money savings that comes with proper maintenance, members also receive priority scheduling and discounted value rate pricing on all repairs.

How much do you charge per hour?

We don’t charge by the hour, instead jobs are priced in an individualized bid. It is difficult for customers to budget for a job when they are paying by the hour because it leaves the price open until the job is completed. You never really know how much you’re going to pay!

Plus there is always the danger of having to pay extra for a slow technician; that doesn’t make sense. Our method is to properly diagnosis with an onsite visit.

Once diagnosed we can provide the client with an straight forward upfront bid. This way the client knows the total cost before proceeding with the work and ensure not surprises at the end of the job.

Are you licensed and insured?

You bet we are! Since 1984 we’ve had our C36 plumbing license and in the years since we have added our C20 HVAC and C10 electrical licenses. In addition we are insured, bonded, and carry workers compensation insurance.

All of our technicians are factory trained by our manufactures and undergo weekly technical and safety training. They know their stuff. CA Lic# 483881

What type of warranty do I get?

One of our greatest assets is our willingness to work with clients, take responsibility, and get things fixed. In the world of home repair there can always be defective parts, installer error, and even sometimes even the unexplainable.

We guarantee all of our work and offer a 1 year no questions asked test drive on any new product install. We are in the business of taking care of people and we want to be your service company for life. We are committed to making you a happy client and will do whatever it takes to make that happen.

Can I supply my own material and have you install it?

Yes we’re happy to install customer supplied fixtures. The only materials we can’t install customer supplied, are pipe, fittings, valves, water heaters and all HVAC equipment like furnaces, air conditioners, ductless mini splits.

Who can I expect to arrive at my door?

We screen, interview, and background check all of our employees. Bellows Plumbing, Heating & Air is a family owned and operated business. We guarantee that we’d never employ someone that we wouldn’t trust in our own home with our own families.

How can I pay for the service? Do you offer financing?

We take all forms of payment: cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discovery, and American Express.

For jobs up to $1,000.00 we can accept credit card with no processing fee.

For jobs greater than $1,000.000 we only accept checks or credit cards with a 2.5% processing fee.

We also offer financing on certain types of plumbing and HVAC installations, the plans are frequently changing so please call us to learn which plan might be a good fit for you.

First, after being called to have a look, a Bellows troubleshooter recommended we replace our 40-year-old central furnace. We opted to respect his professional judgement. A two-man crew came and got the job done efficiently and with little disturbance. We asked for someone to have a look at our equally old shower valve. A man came to estimate the job then returned to replace it another day. Perfect! We love that we no longer wrestle with the old valve. Last, we asked that someone come to look at our home lighting. A man came to help us formulate a plan. Another two-man crew came and began work. We discussed our needs and minor changes were made to improve our environment further. In every case, we were treated courteously. When they requested permission to make changes, they were forthright and benefitted our environment. A sticking point to me, a retired craftsman, is cleanliness. Every person entering our home was professionally neat and left not the slightest dust for us after they left. I am impressed. Overall, my wife and I spoke with many people from Bellows both in person and on the phone. We would like to stress our perception that in every case, we felt we were working with a family business. That is, we were addressed courteously, and as friends, not simply clients. A few weeks on and we still marvel that we waited so long to do this work. As you see, we're glad we chose Bellows.
